OVERVIEW

LUX Loans concept site, is an e-commerce retailer with luxury formal wear available for women to rent or opt-to-buy from top designers and brands. Product is shipped nation-wide for the convenience of female consumers right to their doorstep. Offering affordable options to suit almost any budget-conscious woman. Categorized styles for various social events and occasions, complete ensembles including recommendations for coordinating accessories and suggested hairstyles to make it your own.  Four [4] day rental with optional add-on insurance for piece of mind, and a loyalty rewards program.

RESEARCH

Competitors do exist in the market, but with limitations:
• Do not ship to Canada, or
• Offer minimal options, or
• Do not offer front door delivery options, or
• Do not offer opt-to-buy programs

After conducting research, it was evident that many women were not even aware that this type of service and retailer was available. Pairing product offerings which were best suited for the target market while adhering to the company’s brand also assisted in securing marketing partnerships with vendors.


Target Market
Ensuring the product offering is continuously affordable, convenient and diverse to suit the following demographic:
1-Women ages 14 to 55; teens with a limited budget who attend formals, proms, graduation parties; women who attend events requiring formal wear such as weddings, galas and holiday parties
2-Women who don't want to repeatedly wear what is in their closet inventory
3-Women who want to express personal style/appearance/status
